Overview

Lakeview Resort is one of the few resorts on Lake of the Ozarks that still offers true blue lakefront accommodations. The 78-room property has been family owned since 1946, and its one- to seven-room cottages can accommodate everyone from solo travelers to the most complex family reunions.

Every room on the property is different from the next, but each includes complimentary high speed Internet, air conditioning and a full kitchen, complete with a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator and all necessary utensils. Most include king beds, sofa sleepers and private or shared barbecue grills. There are options for rooms with decks and private balconies, with or without views of the crystal clear lake. This property also offers RV hookups.

Outside their rooms, guests enjoy access to tennis, basketball, indoor and outdoor pools (including a separate toddler pool), bocce ball, sailing, fishing, campfire sites, two full playgrounds, a game room and more. There are also onsite boat and wave runner rentals!

Witchy Weekend at Lakeview Resort!!

by WilliamsChristine

What a blast! Lakeview Resort has a very fun event called Witchy Weekend. You get to stay in your own cottage and they have events scheduled. The best part, there was absolutely no cost to the events. On Friday night there were hayrides, smores, and a scavenger hunt for the children. On Saturday the staff dressed up and did games for the kids including fun treats. There was a pot luck dinner that night and trick - o - treating with people from the cottages. They also had a large house where they did a haunted house. It was definitely scary. Our group loved roaming around the resort at night seeing how other people had decorated their cottages. Some got very involved and had all sorts of scary things in their yard. Everyone was so friendly. My favorite part was the time together (especially screaming as we clung together through the haunted house). The whole event was one I want to do again next year.

Amazing Autumn Getaway

We were at the resort for Witchy Weekend. What a wonderful & unique visit. First of all Friday night we had a long hayride...totally free & fun. Other resorts where we have stayed charge a minimum of $15 per person, so it was a nice bonus that this was included! Saturday was a blast, a little rainy during the pot luck but that can’t be helped...covered shelters were provided. The trick or treating was fun along with seeing all of the amazing work put into decorations. The haunted house was terrifying and amazing and FREE! In the city we paid at least $30 per person. A ton of work went into the haunted house. Other guests and staff were so friendly all weekend. There were some families that had been coming to the resort for many years and had so many priceless memories as we shared while sitting around the bon fire eating s’mores that were provided. Did miss the hot chocolate and would like to see that brought back. Truly a family friendly resort. Our cottage had a nice view of the lake along with a deck. We all slept great and shared many laughs and time around the fire pit. This time together is what it’s all about! Had some good sister time.
