Overview

Having just received a TripAdvisor 2016 Travellers’ Choice Award, this is a great motel for families looking to save money on their trip to Lake Powell. The motel is centrally located, as it was one of the first motels built in the Page area. It’s important to note that this is not a resort with standard resort amenities. But for families looking to save on costs, wanting a kitchen suite, or looking to support small business, this is a great choice.
The motel has 1 or 2 bedroom units, equipped with a full kitchen, living rooms, cable tv and free wifi. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Thus, each unit has more of an apartment feel than a motel room feel. Because of the popularity of this motel and its small size, booking in advance is often necessary.

Looks can be deceiving!

We are used to staying at the typical chains - hilton, marriott, holiday inn etc. I was under the impression Page did not have many of those hotels and read the amazing reviews for the lake powell motel. I decided to give it a try. We arrived after dark and I was a little concerned when we pulled in the parking lot because it looks NOTHING like an updated chain hotel. Our concerns were immediately put to rest after meeting Mark who was very friendly and assured us the rooms had been recently renovated. The apartment (2 bedrooms) was very clean and perfect for our stay. The location was perfect and an easy walk to some great restaurants. If you want to stay somewhere close to the locals - this is the place for you!

Great place to stay in Page

Mark is very personable and meets each guest. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. We had six and stayed in two, 2 bedroom units. The motel cat Clawdia is very sweet and friendly. Only stayed one night but would be good base from which to visit multiple sites in the area.
