The waterfront villas that are managed and rented by Kalahari resort in and of themselves are beautiful properties nestled along Lake Delton in a quiet secluded area. Where things fall apart is Kalahari's management of them. This is our 3rd and last time. Three strikes you're out. There is always that sense that the place is dirty when you walk in. That was confirmed on our last morning when my 1-1/2 year old granddaughter walked barefoot on the main level for about an hour. Her feet were black. Half the light bulbs are burnt out!! Maid service is them dropping off towels and picking up garbage bags. No bed making or tidying bathrooms. No cable TV - how cheap. There were no paper towels like there used to be so we used 10 washcloths for that purpose. Called for paper towels. None came. Asked maid. She reluctantly provided a roll of the most generic looking roll ever and probably still had wood chips in it. Our patio screen had a big hole so we couldn't open our door since that would only invite thousands of bugs in. Overall whoever owns these villas should hire another management company besides Kalahari. I can't tell if Kalahari management is just THAT cheap or that low class to think these villas are acceptable for people to stay in. Keep in mind, the first night was $900 and the 2nd was $1200. Rates of a first class hotel with a no-tell-motel no service vibe.

Our 3 adult children and their families gathered for a fall weekend in 2018. What a blast. There is no end to attractions in the Dells for all ages. Making memories that will last a lifetime. We got terrific three generation photos of all the families.
