My son and I spent a weekend at the Hoot n Holler cottage, which is just down the street from the other guest quarters. It was clean and peaceful, and Sam and Randi were extremely helpful. The location was great, with the lake just across the yard. We would highly recommend it, and hope to go back soon.

This has become our favorite landing spot when we are in the area. We have stayed in the Thibodeaux and Hebert. Because we are both photographers, we like Hebert best, for the porch and location to the water. Both houses are roomy, clean and well cared for. The kitchen facilities are perfect! We have never lacked for anything and feel welcome with each stay. I suppose if an improvement were desired, it would be that the wi-fi work. It seems to be hit or miss from the lodge, where the best reception is said to be had.
