We stayed for a short weekend break with family at the end of the season. All the caravans we booked were beautiful. The location was perfect, with spectacular sea views and immaculate grounds. The cleanliness of all the caravans was spot. Every staff member we came into contact with was helpful, polite and professional. The whole park far exceeded our expectations. We will be back.

We visited Ladram Bay this August and had a good site at the very top of the ridges under the pine trees. On a particularly windy day a very large bough detached from one of the trees and landed on our site, damaging our car. Thankfully it did not land twenty feet to the west where it would have crushed our caravan and everyone in it. Ladram Bay's initial reaction was excellent......... alternative accommodation for our family for that night as the winds were still high and the site cleared of tree bough and debris within a couple of hours.
However, since that time we have had no contact from them. No inquiry regarding how we had recovered from the shock ...... believe me the noise of the crashing tree was extremely frightening!
to add insult to injury they, through their insurers, accept no responsibility for the damage caused to our car.
Obviously, we will never go there again and I would suggest to anyone that chooses to book a site to avoid a site anywhere near the trees.
To Ladram Bay I would request that you refrain from a glib response to this post as this incident may well be the subject of legal action.
