When looking for a hotel for Ithaca College’s parents weekend we decided to stay at La Tourelle, where we had our wedding 29 years ago. Still a wonderful family owned and run Inn that has a great homey feel. Very nice lobby with fireplace and bar and Beekman Boys toiletries in the guest rooms. I’m looking forward to staying there again in the spring so we can explore the trails in back that lead to Buttermilk state Park. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and the location of the pet friendly rooms was so convenient. I can’t wait to return!

Everything about our stay was incredible. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Breakfast at the Bistro was delicious and there was a great selection. Our room was large yet cozy. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace two of the three nights that we were there. The balcony with a view of the grounds was lovely. The wine hour from 5 - 6 pm was a great way to enjoy area wines while meeting other guests. We also had an outstanding meal at the steakhouse that is on property, probably the best scallops that I have ever had. Everyone could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Finally the spa . . . oh that spa! We had two treatments while we were there, and they were amazing! I could honestly go on and on and on about how wonderful our experience was, but you should probably experience it for yourself. We will DEFINITELY be back!
