Traveling with lab, have stayed at La Quinta before, recently signed up foe rewards due to previous positive experiences with this chain. Reserved King room for two. Arrived early evening and hotel seemed to be far from capacity. Offered desk clerk copy of my printed reservation but was declined. Given keys to 2nd floor room and drove to the back of the hotel and unpacked. Found the room to be full beds, went back to the desk and explained my concern in which he offered an apology and gave me cards for a King only two doors down. Cards did not work. Returning the the front desk I explained the problem and received two new cards. The front desk clerk did follow me bacxk to the room to make sure all was well and the cards did work. Once in the room, only one towel of each size was available. I tried to call the front desk but alas, phone was not working so again I went to the desk and was given requested towels. Pros: Very few people at this location resulted in a very quiet nights sleep and bed was comfortable. Standard fair or b-fast. This experience will not exclude my option to stay at another La Quinta for future road trips.

Courteous and professional staff made this trip amazing. We arrived on a weekend when many other hotel guests were refugees/evacuees from nearby wildfires. Despite the stress, chaos and larger-than-expected crowd, our room was immaculate.
