LaQuinta provides rooms that are clean and maintained. The three buildings are just a block or two from the major downtown area and amidst restaurants, shops and parks. RECOMMENDATION: Connie's Cafe, I have been told, is actually now part of the LaQuinta complex - - after you've spent big bucks on "chef-ied up" dining around town and want a good and wholesome American menu, do yourself a favor and eat breakfast or dinner at Connie's (lounge attached for drinkers).

The hotel is extremely convenient to downtown, allowing you to park your car and walk to nearby events, stores, and restaurants. The property could use some updating and breakfast was just okay. Gluten-free bread was available on request and the coffee was good.
