Here’s the deal

Here’s the deal: I am staying here tonight. When I arrived, things were a little confused at the front desk due to construction. They have water damage and so the place smells like mildew. I was shown to my first room and it smelled, then a second room and it smelled.

Then the manager stepped in and gave us a brand new, beautiful room and everything worked out fine.

So, the long and short of it is: you can get a really great deal on a good room. If you strike out…just talk to the manager.

Dooped on a reservation made a year in advance!

Very unprofessional, unorganized and inconvenienced the day we arrived! A reservation I made a year ago was not available to me! How can you decide to renovate at one of the busiest times of the year. Then tried to give accommodation of a smaller room for the same price as a king suite a RIP off! I've always stayed at this Laquinta not just at classic weekend but any time I've visited Birmingham! And be treated the way we were treated is unacceptable and we will NEVER stay there AGAIN! We cancelled and had the darndest time finding another room!
