So disappointed just left another La Quinta in Ohio and it was immaculate

Hallways very dirty and unkept. Walked into room and a heavy dirty musty smell permeated. Found cotton balls stuffed in AC unit with some fragrance on it. Rugs were super dirty. Another persons hair in the sink in the bathroom when we first walked in. Mattress smelled horrible. Had no idea we were given a handicapped accessible room until we got in there. I’m glad my kids were already asleep when we got there because I didn’t want them any where near the floors. We laid personal blankets on the beds as a buffer because we were so unsettled about the rooms condition. Really upset and disappointed especially because we are traveling cross country and know cancelling this room would’ve cost us our money so we were forced to stay because we are budgeted. Would t recommend this at all and really want our money back but know that probably won’t happen. Avoid all costs.

Chose this hotel because it was close for the week of training I was attending and LaQuinta chain has been good in the past. Check in was ok but young lady did not seem very friendly or please to be helping me. Elevator had a full trash bag on the floor and wet sticky liquid on the floor. Elevator beat up and poor appearance. Hall way had trash on the floor. Room was very cold and AC was on Max cold with blower on high. (it was not a hot day). Found hair in bathroom. Bed was made up with sheets so short that they could not be pulled up to cover up. Sheets had a stain so I know they were never changed the whole time I was there. Breakfast was typical choices but was not prepared well and tasteless. All in all a very disappointing stay. Checked for other rooms nearby the first night but none available with no notice. Stayed for the full four nights reserved but would have changed hotels if possible. Will not stay again or recommend.
