Located just two miles west of the Salt Lake City International Airport is this La Quinta Inn & Suites. Amenities include a complimentary shuttle service that takes guests to and from the airport, complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel, the complimentary Bright Side Breakfast, an indoor heated swimming pool, a fitness center, and guest laundry facilities. Pets stay free of charge, as well. The complimentary Bright Side Breakfast includes waffles, hot and cold cereals, various breads and muffins, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, and all-you-can-drink coffee and juice. Breakfast is served Monday through Friday, 5:30 to 9 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 to 10 a.m. Rooms feature coffeemakers, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, alarm clocks, microwave ovens, and flat screen televisions. Nearby attractions include Hogle Zoo, Temple Square, Utah State Fairgrounds, Clark Planetarium, Rocky Mountain Raceway, and Miller Sports Park. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon.

This property is run down and smells of disinfectant. Safety at night is a concern. Watch out for the back door. Place has deteriorated in the last several years. There are many other choices close by.

OUTDATED

The building could use some renovation and repair. It felt very outdated and almost uncomfortable. Especially the pool, felt hesitant to enter. Had whatever the pool deck is sealed with flaking off. The staff were efficient and kept to themselves so the only interaction you receive is Check-in Check-out. It works as a place to sleep for the night, but for the price it could use some TLC. I would do an AIR BNB for what the value is here.
