We really enjoyed this boutique hotel which is located across from the Monastery and within a few blocks from the main square. The hotel opens immediately into an open courtyard, and then has several different floors of places for intimate spaces inside and outside. When we wanted to include everyone in our group, we sat in the courtyard, when we wanted just a glass of wine and quieter conversations, we could find an alcove in a myriad of places. Our room was spacious and even included a bath which I loved! We loved being able to have mate de coca available to us throughout the day as we accustomed ourselves to the high altitude. Breakfast was continental with several different breads, spreads, cheese, deli meats, and eggs.
For the times you are just hanging out, they even have ping pong! I throughly enjoyed myself and would have given it five stars except that our experience with the spa was not perfect and I agree with a former guest that there are needed repairs. We enjoyed ourselves and relaxed the entire hour in the wet sauna (with herbs) and whirl pool/pool - but we were never given a towel and never given a juice. When we asked the front desk about it, they acted like we should have known to come to the front desk for the towels -- and we never received our juice but still paid the $12. Our room had a blind on the glass door looking out of the hotel. The blind was shedding white paint all over the floor and really needs to be replaced. Otherwise, we loved our stay.

What a nice place and so friendly staff. The rooms are very clean. Nice to enjoy the courtyard or terrace. Nichtdeutsche near the monastery. Good size of room and free tea available.
Good breakfast and a nice old building
