Nice garden but so much traffic noise

Clearly I could have done better research prior to arriving. I liked this hotel because of the garden. But despite having a room at the very back the traffic noise is stifling. The rooms are ok for the price and so is the breakfast. Coffee not very good.

Best place to stay in the city of Oaxaca

Clean, safe, friendly place. Excellent restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner. Across Plaza del Llano that is a safe place for morning and evening walks. Walking distance -or short taxi- to city center. My wife and I stayed for 9 night, took day trips to the pyramids, Hierve el Agua, Sierra Juarez, etc. We had several meals at the Central Market and all were excellent; This market food courts cater to tourists and have a very high level of hygiene.
