Located on the beach in Puerto Villamil, this B&B is a great find in the Galapagos. Book two rooms — one for the parents and one for the kids. Rooms are spacious with king-sized bed or two queens, with nice-sized bathroom. Have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean, and then stroll to the beach or lie on the property’s hammock. The property is within easy walking distance to all the restaurants in town.

Perfect location for extended stay

Due to time constraints, we decided to visit just one island in the Galapagos and do a land-based tour. This hotel is so close to the beach that my son ran out every morning to visit the marine iguanas. We walked to view the giant tortoises and flamingoes twice. During our excursions, we saw just about everything imaginable (penguins, blue footed boobies, sea lions, sharks, sea turtles, etc). Memorable trip, for sure.

Nice hotel overall

Not a fancy place but overall a nice hotel to stay. Everything is basic but functional. Clean and friendly staff. They will do laundry for you for $6 per kilogram. You can buy beers and juice as well.
