This resort is located on Eagle beach but if you like to walk it’s very walkable to,Palm Beach...15 minute max. La Cabana is a really fun resort That exhumes lots of energy. There is always an activity going on from morning till nighttime. Everyone there seems to,have fun. The pool area is large but spread out so you never feel like you are sitting at a strangers table! There’s a nice water slide for kids and a small playground area. One of the extra features is you can easily walk to Super Foods which is a wonderful grocery store. It’s on,y a 5 minute walk. Bring your roller suitcase and fill it up with your food and beverages!
La cabanas beach is very nice though does get crowded. You really need to be at the beach securing your palapala by 7 AM. After 7 there is very limited availability.
The water is generally calm with rolling waves. Very soft sand...no shells or seaweed. You can have a beautiful mile or more walk down to the end of the Eagle beach.
One of the really nice features of La cabana was you do get a 5 minute house cleaning every day. Fresh towels, garbage taken out and bed made. If you stay a week you get a mid week full cleaning. Loved how the Aloe products were featured in all the rest rooms! Beach towels were thick and like velvet. So nice compared to other towels we’ve had at other resorts,
Staff friendly and helpful....the little cafe on property had delicious and very reasonable food. Breakfast specials were under $6.
I am not an owner at La Cabana. But I would definitely stay here again. Don’t let the fact that you have to,cross the street to get to the beach turn you off. It’s not a big deal
