On the first day we arrived, there was a nice complimentary airport pick up from the villa. Location wise it is a bit hard to reach but there's always Uber/Taxi/hired private driver so it would be too much of a problem.
The butler was nice. He checked us in and gave us villa number 5. There is 3 bedrooms in this villa. Two on the ground floor and another bedroom at the second floor as well as lounge with TV area.
Villa #5 looked run down and lots of insects inside the bedroom. The pool was in bad condition too as the butler explained that there was a very big NYE party with 8 people the night before. Bathroom was wet. Lighting was poor and TV was located on top of the curtains - which I find funny.
Overall, wasn't very impressed with villa #5. The next day, we saw the butler in the morning and he offered us to moved to villa #4 as the last guests has checked out. We moved after we had breakfast and surprised by how good this one looked compared to villa #5. It has two bedrooms, a nice lounge and dining table in the middle. Poor was clean. Bedrooms was clean too. The bathroom was cleaner although had some kind of strange smell. It was really nice and great value for money staying at villa #4.
Umalas area have good brunch/late places such as Habitual and Nook (rice fields view). I also find that their massage/spa places is cheaper than the ones in Seminyak. Umalas is just 10 minutes drive from the busy Seminyak.
