It did the job, which for $100 a night is to be expected. It’s fine for a place to crash, and nice to have a microwave and coffee machine and fridge, but if you’re fussy about fittings and decor you could probably find fault with the rooms. Also, we had issues with the WiFi that were never properly resolved. We’re all about being self-sufficient, and the self check-in was kind of refreshing, but if you’re the type to expect someone around to ask for local advice, or just add that personal touch, you might find it lacking. We loved the pool area and communal tiki lounge/bbq zone, but our old a/c seemed to conk out in the night, and the low ceiling fan verged on lethal. So to be honest if we’re in the area again we’ll probably look for somewhere else to stay.

Right from the start we were greeted by a friendly informative employee. Brenda in the office was so nice and accommodating. We stayed in the Tiki and it was a very quant little bungalow. The room smelled great and you could fish right from the dock in the back. The pool was very refreshing. October is a great time to go to the island, mostly locals and not crowded. The only issue was the ac in the room, it has a light on it that is like a neon light shining in your eyes while you are trying to sleep. A piece of tape took care of that.
