Kona Coast is located on 21 acres of tropical gardens and Kona Coast. Guests stay in one- or two-bedroom villas with fully equipped kitchens, private balconies and washer/dryer units. Some rooms have DVD players, living rooms and dining areas. Aloha Fridays at the Point serves American and Hawaiian fusion cuisine by one of the pools. A children’s menu is available. There are two large pools, one especially for families with an adjacent children’s pool. Kona Country Club is next door, featuring a 36-hole golf course. The beach and ocean offer a myriad of water sports, whale watching adventures and fishing excursions.

Stayed in the Condos at Kona Coast Resort. They look a little dated from the outside. Rented a 2 bedroom. It was huge, well maintained and very clean. Has everything you need for your stay. The pool is overlooking the ocean. didn't go to the onsight cafe.
What I also liked about the location is that it is easy to get in and out of the resort. There is a small shopping center up the hill with a grocery store and Longs. You can turn left to go done Alii drive with is always congested or turn right and head out to do your sight seeing. Would stay there again.

Very nice property, BUT not on the ocean and has golf coures views. I go to Hawaii to see the ocean and enjoy the ocean breeze, you get neither here. Then they charge extra for air conditioning, which shouldn't be optional at 85 degrees with 85 % humidity and lacking an ocean breeze.
