The hotel features 320 guestrooms, 16 of which are located in the Snoopy Wing and feature a Snoopy theme. Cribs and connecting rooms are available by request and three rooms are able to connect if needed. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, but rollaway beds are not available. A mini-fridge is available upon request.

Camp Snoopy Rooms

These themed guestrooms feature adorable Snoopy details. Snoopy and all the Peanuts characters line the walls of this section of the hotel. If you look closely, the carpet is covered in "paw prints" and the headboards for the two queen or one king beds feature giant Snoopy cut-outs. These rooms feature a coffeemaker, flat-screen television and a shower/tub combination in the bathrooms.

A few of the extras that come with the Snoopy-themed rooms include Snoopy stuffed animals for the kiddos and a story time list by the hotel phone -- kids can call for a bedtime story from Snoopy! Snoopy also makes nightly rounds to each room and does a bedtime tuck-in for each child.

Standard Guestrooms

The standard guestrooms (which do not have the Snoopy decor) feature one king or two queen beds, flat-screen television, coffeemaker and a shower/tub combination in the bathroom. Outlets can be found by the bedside and some rooms feature a sleeper sofa or sleeper chair that pulls out to a bed.

Outdoor Pool

The large outdoor, heated pool area , surrounded by lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, is a great place for families to end a day filled with amusement rides. There is a large kids' splash pad area next to the pool that has fountains and sprayers and hoses, too. The pool is open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and pool towels are provided.

Sport Court

A sports court is situated just off the pool area and is lighted if families want to play a game of tennis or basketball after spending time at Knott's Berry Farm.

Knott's Berry Farm

The Knott's Berry Farm roller coasters are literally in the backyard of this hotel. Families can purchase park tickets at the hotel and walk to the park. Knott's Soak City water park is only a short drive away too.

Amber Waves

Located just off the lobby, this casual restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Families can enjoy the hot breakfast buffet or dine a la carte. Lunch and dinner include burgers, wood-fired pizzas, pasta and steak. There is a kids' menu as well.

Snoopy also makes appearances at the restaurant to say hello to all the kids each morning during breakfast. While breakfast is not included in the hotel stay, there are often hotel packages available that can include breakfast.

The Best Time to Visit

The summer months from June through August are the busiest at Knott's Berry Farm Hotel. October, during the annual Scary Farm Halloween event, spring break and most school holidays can also be busy times here.

Getting There

The John Wayne Airport in Orange County is situated less than 30 minutes from the hotel. Los Angeles International Airport is situated more than 30 minutes from the hotel. Airport shuttles can be arranged from both airports for an additional cost.

Getting Around

Families can easily walk to Knott's Berry Farm and the restaurants that are situated just outside. There is also a free shuttle (reservation needed) available to take families to Disneyland. If the plan is to enjoy the area amusements, a rental car may not be necessary. But if your family plans to explore more of Buena Park or surrounding areas, a rental car is a must.

There is a bar area inside Amber Waves, open from 2 to 11:30 p.m. and serving a wide selection of beers. Happy hour specials are offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
