This place has received a facelift in the last decade. We were hesitant to book as we stayed here 15 years ago and it was awful. All that has changed!

This place was amazingly clean. Beds were on the smaller side (not true queens) but comfy. Room had been painted and well cared for. Bathroom was spotless. We stayed in larger suite and the pull out was equally clean and comfy. When we pulled sofa bed away from wall to open fully (due to shape of room), the space behind the sofa was also tidy.

They offer a continental breakfast but we went to the Tim’s right next door.

Overall great place to stay compared to other hotels in Owen Sound.

My wife, 2 kids and I just spent 3 nights here while visiting family in the area. First the owners, they were great, friendly and went well above and beyond what is required of them, even after my son got sick in the rental car, the missus was more than willing to help me get what I needed to clean it out. Second the price, at half of what any other hotel/motel in the area was it was more than affordable for us to stay there. The room was massive and clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the complimentary continental breakfast was great to kick start the day without spending another 40$ minimum eating out. I was extremely happy with this stay and gem of a motel, we will be back and keep up the good work.
