The Knickerbocker has vintage charm and is located right across from the bluff that leads down to Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Art Museum. It’s a scenic lakefront location with two well-respected restaurants onsite, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If a lake view is a must, book one of the Lakeview Suites on the east side of the building.
Most rooms have only one queen size bed, but larger one-bedroom suites have a queen bed in the bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living area. The hotel offers guests access to use of their two complimentary cribs, but reservations should be made in advance. Each room has at least a kitchenette consisting of a small stove, microwave, toaster, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. One-bedroom suites have a full kitchen with a separate dining area. All rooms have flat-screen TV’s with cable. A coin-operated laundry facility, fitness center and computer and printer in the lobby are available for guest use. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi access.
