Upon arrival I was not happy-our room had a "lagoon view" and it was very large BUT it was right by the pool which was noisy and there were table and chairs set up right in front of our room by the dock slips where a couple was sitting with their radio on. I could hear them talking from the "kitchen" area and the music was blarring--all the windows have slats so you can not block out any noise. Luckily we were given a different room (after I complained to the front desk how noisy our original was)--this room was on the 2nd floor in the south building so it was very quiet and equally as big. Very clean and nicer bathroom and they give you tons of towels.

We recently stayed at the Kingsail Resort in Marathon. While the room smelled clean we had bed bugs bite us and our friends in another room. Pool is not open dawn to dusk like they have posted either.
