Rooms were clean and met expectations for the location. The service was wonderful. We arrived at the dock and were greeted by Sean. He drove our bags to the hotel and dropped them off in front of our rooms. Completely unexpected! Dining was nice, you could tell the cook did his best with what he had on hand. The server was awesome and made sure the kids got their food first so there was no hunger melt down. Staff was super flexible and accommodating when we kept flip flopping our plans. This hotel a great example of Minnesota nice!

I've been going to Kettle Falls for years, twice this summer. The first time was midweek, late June and it was packed with people everywhere. We got poor service in the bar from Chad, but I wrote this off due to the crowd. I went again midweek this week, and we were the only people in the whole place. I again got terrible service in the bar from Chad the bartender. He did not greet us when we arrived, he did not look up at us when we ordered drinks. We had to ask everything at least twice, whether it was about the pool cues, the juke box or drinks, because he would not even acknowledge hearing the question. We we finally asked to talk to Rick the manager, Chad told us he was "upstairs taking a nap." Wow.
