We recently stayed in the hotel. Great accommodation and atmosphere. Ideally situated for such an town of great character and charm. Breakfast just ok but so impressed with everything else. Would definitely recommend the hotel and its convenient location to all amenities.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel right in the centre of town. The bar and restaurant were closed when we there as it’s end of season but they gave us a discount to their sister hotel to use their restaurant. Rooms are clean and functional but very small (although bathrooms are a good size). Beds are queen size at best and if you are traveling with suitcases there is not enough space. Our friends has to change rooms as the hearing was on over run and the room was so hot but luckily there was another room for them. Certainly they couldn’t have stayed in the room. A very basic continental breakfast is provided and when we went to eat at 9 am there were only 2 pastries left. The guy on reception defrosted a couple more for us but almost under protest. By comparison, the lady on reception the night before was excellent. WiFi is good and there is plenty of parking. So some good bits and some less so.
