The Inn is charming, the rooms are large, beautifully renovated and decorated ..... which is great, as there is no other space in the inn to spend time, there is a gorgeous porch and living room, but it used by the tavern patrons....no room for inn patrons...there is no front desk or personnel....the tavern is open until 10 and loud, so if you have kids....beware. It’s an interesting business model....probably good be tweaked to accommodate all patrons.

We have been coming here for twenty five years. The past few years we have been in the lodge room. We love the fireplace and the complimentary breakfast was always delicious. When we arrived we were ready to settle in by the fire with a glass of wine only to discover a silk plant where the logs should be. Also breakfast is served next door and no longer complimentary which is disappointing. When we checked out we mentioned the lack of fireplace and were told they were being repaired and will be functional again. Hopefully that is the case. It would have been helpful if we were told about the fireplace beforehand. We are going to give it another try for next year, but I am calling ahead before we come.
