I was impressed with Kamaole Sands condos. I was expecting a musty old hawaii vibe but instead was pleasantly surprised to walk into an immaculately clean huge condo. Condo 7-409 was really nice. Sparkling clean. Brand new looking towels provided. Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, big fridge/freezer with ice trays, toaster, blender. Downstairs bedroom had a full sized bed & a single bed, a ceiling fan & a large floor fan. This room might get hot bc the AC is only upstairs but this room did have the fans. 1 full bathroom with a shower downstairs. Living room with tv & cable, ceiling fan. The upstairs loft had a wall unit AC, ceiling fan, 1 queen bed, 1 full bathroom with shower. The AC had a timer control to only run at 6hr increments but I found that the upstairs ceiling fan & upper window fan exhaust worked very well to keep you cool just by themselves. The outdoor lanai had a large table with plenty of chairs & 1 lounge chair. This unit has a partial ocean view & overlooks the middle grounds & pool is too the side view but far enough away that their isn’t much noise. I found it to be very quiet at all hours mostly. This complex is directly across from Kamaole 3 beach where lots of turtles are. You can walk to some of the Kihei bars & restaurants. There is a designated parking spot for you. I don’t know if the other units are similar or if each one is privately owned but I enjoyed my stay enough that I would definitely recommend it & would stay here again.
