There’s almost too much to love about this Marriott property to list. For starters, you’re right in the most beautiful area of Cusco, a quick walk to the Plaza de Armas and tons of restaurants and shopping. There are US electrical outlets so you won’t need converters to charge things, and the staff are exceedingly helpful with arranging everything from local tours to onward travel to Machu Picchu and beyond.
Kids love the make-your-own-S’mores nights in the pretty colonial courtyard, offered several times a week. And the hotel even does meet and greets with a local and her pet llama, another delight for the children. Rollaway beds and cribs can be arranged. In short, you won’t miss anything from home.

Stayed here Nov 3 to 8.
My experience with the hotel was excellent.
It was my first time in Peru.
The hotel arranged pick up at the airport (cost me 15USD for a 15 to 20 min ride). The driver was outside when I arrived holding the sign for Marriott.
The hotel is centrally located and probably 7 minutes to the main squire/plaza. It’s in a safe area with lots of police and other tourists. The area seems to be a busy area with a lot going on.
Check in was smooth, they paid attention to detail. Since I prepaid my hotel on Expedia I was able to pay for the said resort fee with my debit card at check in. They were ok with me not giving my credit card (I don’t like giving my credit card in foreign countries). The rest of the time I ate out or paid in Cash. The hotel is close to ATMs about 5 to ten minute walk.
I must say their customer service was excellent. Every hotel staff I bumped to greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed help.
I stayed in the family room with 2 double beds ground level overlooking the courtyard. The room was impeccably clean and had all the amenities needed. The room apparently had extra oxygen. If you are American or Canadian there are 2 USA plugs on the room desk but not next to the bed.
I didn’t eat in the main restaurant but ate at the Bar and room service. The food is delicious with great varieties and the drinks were amazing.
Overall I would give it 5 star.
I can’t comment on the other rooms e.g Inca wall rooms and the room facing the street.
I was initially hesitant in booking a room here after reading some negative review. If you are having any doubts don’t, it’s an excellent hotel to stay in Cusco.
