Overview

You won’t find small, stuffy hotel rooms at this resort: they specialize in spacious villas (which they term “creekhouses”) that can be rented as a private one- or two-bedroom unit. The cabins are beautiful and modern with rustic charm–you’ll enjoy two wood-burning fireplaces and views of the lush forest or the creek. Although there is no pool, you’ll be able to rent a creekhouse with a hot tub on request. If you’re lucky enough to get a unit with a loft, kids love having their own little space up the set of spiral stairs. Televisions and DVD players are located throughout the creekhouses, and the family can pick out movies at the resort’s DVD library. (One downside is that the Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well, so you’ll need other options for entertainment!)
Creekhouses do come with fully furnished kitchens, so you’ll be able to cook for yourselves–but don’t pass up the free breakfast vouchers for morning meals at the onsite cafe. The Table at Junipine also serves lunch and dinner, with a seasonally changing menu.

Great experience.Great location, cozy, well appointed unit. Check in receptionist was fantastic, check out not so much. Fireplace in living room and master bedroom were an added plus along with the sound of the river behind the unit
