This is our second stay here. This year we stayed in cottage #7, Conch Key. I can’t say enough good about this adorable 2 room suite. There’s plenty room to get around. The bedroom is separate from the living Room/kitchen area. There’s great detail to this conch themed room. Carol and Mike did a fantastic job with this theme. Last year we stayed in a palm themed room, which was also adorable. The bed is very comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and very well manicured. There’s plenty of seating at the beach with a comfy tiki hut to sit under, which has piped in music. There’s a couple of hammocks to sway away in. Also a double swing facing the bocce court as well as many other seating areas on the property. Kayaks are available, although we didn’t use them. This is our 4th time visiting the Keys, but only second time here. There’s no reason for to stay anywhere else but here in any of our future Keys vacation. This place is perfect!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid-October '19 in Cottage #4 "Bridges", which was more than enough space for the two of us. My favorite thing about this place is the attention to detail and the genuine Florida keys feel! The quality of everything from the decorations to the mattress is unmatched to any other vacation stay I've had. This is not your typical cookie cutter Florida keys place.
Mike and Carol were incredibly nice and gave great restaurant recommendations.
The grounds were incredibly clean and we used the kayaks they have to explore the nearby mangroves. We snorkeled off the dock and also played corn hole and bocce. We ate lunch at one of the picnic tables and had happy hour in the tiki hut (made our own daquaris with the blender we found in our kitchen!) They even provide a mini cooler so you can bring drinks out with you to the beach during the day. We were only able to spend one day at their beach (other days spent snorkeling the reef and a day trip to Key West) and I wish we could have spent at least 2 more days here! It was incredibly relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for and I could not recommend staying with Mike and Carol at Island Bay enough!
