Couldn't ask for more.

I am a little bit of a hotel snob. I usually only stay at reputable chain hotels. I go on several business trips every year and my company always puts me up in really nice hotels. But, my wife and I were on a budget trip headed to a college football game and took a chance on this place. I was completely 100% satisfied with the Inn of Clanton. Our room was extremely clean and smelled good. It looked like it had just been remodeled. Great shower, air conditioner, DirecTV, and what looked like brand new floors. When we found out that breakfast was next door at Shoney's I was waiting for a "catch". Nope. Just as promised. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. The next time I have anything to do in the Montgomery/Birmingham area, I would probably drive out of the way to stay here.

Pleasant Place to Stay

Decided to stay here for a business meeting. The room had been completely redone and was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the room had no bad smells or odors and was very clean. And the A/C worked wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with throughout the stay. Will stay again when in the area.
