This resort, located on 3,000 acres, has 150 rooms and suites with great views of the mountains. It offers a great combination of new and old. On the National Register of Historic places, it combines an elegant setting and period and period decor with modern amenities like a private movie theater, free wireless Internet and a full-service spa. Families will love the wide array of activities, including 36 holes of championship golf, horseback-riding, indoor and outdoor pools, hiking and ATV trails and a small children’s play area. Skiing and tubing are available at nearby Camelback. The onsite restaurant The Exchange serves dinner nightly, while the more casual Old Lamplighter Lounge has a pub menu. Packages that include dinner are available. Kids will love the family movie nights in the theater, ice cream socials, table tennis tournaments and game nights.

Room was clean and adequate. No option other than buffet for breakfast. Lamp lighter room had LOUD music during dinner....so loud you couldnt have a conversation...even the wait staff couldnt hear us giving order.
Sunday afternoon on a very warm weekend the pool bar wasnt open.

The course is challenging! Nice driving range too. The food was superb!! I will bet you can't eat it all! The scenery is awesome.
Try it if you are in the beautiful Pocono Mts of Pennsylvania. Close to shopping outlet too.
