Perched upon the Oregon coastal cliffs, the stunning Inn at Otter Crest features 35 acres of lush forests, with many nature trails running through it, behind and around the property, and striking ocean views to the west. The Inn also has its own tide pools and resident harbor seals on Otter Crest beach. If that’s not enough nature, a pod of gray whales can often be seen from guestroom private balconies. Larger suites can accommodate families and the lofts and studios come complete with fireplaces and full kitchens. During your stay, enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool with hot tub and Jacuzzi, tennis courts, duck pond, and activity room with video games and a children’s playground.

Magical experience- in that Oregon low-key way! The Forest with magnificent trees is magical - you feel like a fairy will pop out from a flower. Then to the cliff and the emerald Pacific Ocean in panoramic View. I have stayed there twice now, in July and September. The rooms are very functional and extremely well-kept. I like the fact that you park in front of the lobby, then take an electric golf cart ("bell service") to your room. I walked the grounds most of the time to/from my room. But when I had my luggage called for the bell service. They were great!
The Oceanfront heated pool and hot tub is terrific for young and old. And the on-site Spyglass restaurant (Oceanfront) is a great way to feed yourself while here. I usually have breakfast there every day.
Some rooms are more updated then others. They are individually owned, so owners can decide to remodel or not. I know rooms 348 and 349 have been remodeled - nice new bathrooms and one room has a beautiful kitchen.

We stayed here after our first hotel was a disaster. It’s located between Newport and Depoe Bay, so a short drive gets you to action. It was a great surprise by how nice the room was, how friendly the staff were, and the view! These are condos so each one is different. Ours was a nice 1 bedroom room with a great view of the ocean where we could see whales in the morning spouting. They have built up the cliff side and have tiered the rooms/buildings. Every room has a good view. You get to your room by golf cart. You cannot drive directly to your room but it honestly made it much more quiet. We ate at the restaurant on the property. I highly recommend it. The food was delicious and you get a large portion for your money. They even provide binoculars to view the whales. This location as has a private beach. While it’s 85 steps down its well worth it! Lots of shells and beautiful views of the ocean can be seen. When it’s low tide you can take a short hike to the Devil’s Punch Bowl where you can actually walk inside it. This is one location I would stay at again!
