This authentic farm stay B&B is not a movie set-expect to roll up your sleeves, get your hands and boots dirty, and participate in farm chores. Also expect to have a ton of fun as everyone in the family gets up-close to chicken, sheep, and cows and feels like a welcome member of an extended farm family. The property is located at the base of the beloved Mount Monadnock, an isolated drumlin in Southern New Hampshire that is one of the most popular mountains for climbing in the world. The mountain serves as a lovely backdrop for activities including gathering eggs, milking cows, and feeding the animals.
For those that don’t feel like working, there are also plenty of activities to kick back and relax, including swimming in the pool, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, or just sitting on the porch with a breeze and a good book. A robust kids program includes activities such as arts and crafts, games, and campfire songs. The 65 units scattered around the farm offer a range of accommodations, from basic rooms in the main house to rustic cabins to newly renovated deluxe cabins. Expect lots of handmade quilts and simple, homey furnishings. Rates are a bargain when you consider that they include three hearty, home-cooked meals a day-many, of course, using farm-fresh ingredients.

We spent the twins birthday today at the Inn at East Hill Farm. It was fall family fun day and the day started with milking a cow, then feeding animals and grooming ponies to making mini hay bales and riding a pony. We had a great lunch here and the even gave us a birthday cake! We ended the day swimming and warming up in the hot tub. We would definitely come back.

As advertised, it is a great place for kids (grandkids are 5 and 2) to see, experience, and feed all the various farm animals. Very much a family experience, with activities for kids and multiple pools to use (but no lifeguards) Facility is always clean, food very good and always plentiful, and the staff are very courteous. . Our 5 yr old granddaughter had 2 wonderful horse riding lessons, instructor was patient and caring. The only drawbacks preventing the highest rating are: The wifi signal for Verizon is not very good, you need to move around and you may occasionally get a signal for a short time, and the only bathroom in a downstairs pool/recreation room was out of order for our entire stay. Although it gets to be expensive for a large family, I recommend it as the perfect antithesis to the theme parks. We plan to come back.
