Nice Try

The motel is clean, but needs major renovations. The walls are very thin and can here the people next door snore. Their customer service was over the top and the maid service was very professional. This is a mid range motel, so buyer beware.

Friendly, Charming, & Vintage Vibe

Inn at East Beach is a small (32 room) hotel in an updated vintage style. There's a pool. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast is SO MUCH MORE than that - yogurt, granola, cereals, juices, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, and you can order a waffle made for you. They have bicycles for rent. I had a king bed room, and it was large, with a desk, comfy stuffed chair, TV, good lighting, a large vanity area separate from the bathroom with a big long sink with faucets and space for two people. It is also just one block from the beach! You can take a shuttle to State Street for 50 cents - it continues all the way to the Harbor if you like. Just a great stay overall.
