Our first time here and we loved it. Online, the Inn appeared to be an old school Florida beach motel/hotel that has been refurbished. That's exactly what it is, but better. Very, very clean, neat and well done. Still brings some of that old Florida feel, but up to date. Loved the morning continental breakfast in the lobby and just the whole atmosphere.
Location is directly across the street from the beach. In a 100 steps or so you are on the sand. Distance to the town was a little further than we thought. Maybe eight blocks. Certainly walk-able, but a healthy walk. Parking was easy either at the Inn, downtown or at other beach locations.
We will definitely be back and won't even consider anywhere else in Venice.

A pleasant 20 minute walk east gets you right into the heart of downtown Venice with it's multitude of restaurants and shops.
A real bonus was the free music concerts almost every night at the Pavilion at the beach just steps from the Inn. Rooms were bright and clean and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was included.
