Ink48, a Kimpton Hotel, is a former printing house set in Midtown. The hotel offers open-air gardens with 360-degree views of the city skyline and Hudson River. Chic rooms display modern furnishings with splashes of bright color. Flat-screen televisions, coffeemakers and high-speed Internet are in the units. Bathrooms are adorned with stone tiled floors and oversized showers. Double Double Deluxe rooms are perfect for families as they have two beds and fun animal-print, terrycloth robes in adult and child sizes. Larger suites offer additional space, living rooms and better views. Pets are also welcome at Ink48. As for all Kimpton hotels, children are treated as well as adults, if not better! Infants are provided with cribs or Playards, high-chairs and in-room safety kits. Children receive welcome gifts, a list of kid-friendly attractions nearby and comment cards about their stay. Babysitting services are available and families can rent necessities, like strollers or car safety seats. PRINT. is an onsite restaurant that serves locally grown cuisine for all meals. A full-service spa and a fitness center are also at Ink48.

The place is very clean very comfortable but not my taste. Bathroom has showers no tub glass doors for bathroom even though you can't see in you could see image. No coffee in room, refridge is full of their drinks for you to buy, so no fridge or microwave. Beds are comfortable but very noisy outside and you can hear it inside. You can get other places to stay for better prices that are just as good or better close by.

Be very careful if you are looking at this hotel during November and December. Stayed here for 4 nights recently and ended up with a second floor room, the noise from the building site opposite was horrendous, they stated hammering steel work at 5am. We could even hear people talking on the street below.
The hotel was nice enough but everything was extra and over priced.
The staff were quite abrupt and pretty unhelpful.
I know a lot of people come back to this hotel, but we won't be one of them.
