Overview
by Courtney Elko
Families can stay at the Ingalls Homestead and all learn about Laura Ingalls Wilder and pioneer history. Families can participate in hands-on activities in the one-room school house or in a covered wagon. To get the full experience, families can also camp on the Homestead. Families can choose between staying in a covered wagons, bunkhouse, an RV site, or tent camping. The covered wagon has electricity and screen windows. The bunkhouse, which can sleep six, has electricity, a mini-fridge, microwave, and table and chairs. Families will need to bring their own linens. Bathrooms and shower facilities are onsite. The Homestead is closed in the winter.
