WHAT an experience-staff who treat you like family in a funky setting and fab location!!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Quirky setting and location aside, the staff know how to make you feel special! They went out of their way to look after us all for my friend’s 40th-singing and playing Happy Birthday on the piano, promptly ensuring the booking was perfect, leaving special touches-EVERYONE made us feel at home!

From the off Jalal and Bimla in particular were extremely helpful and patient in sorting out my booking as I had messed up the credit card details and was making two bookings which I wanted to link! I had to call and email so many times and also sort out an accessible room and absolutely nothing was too much trouble-they have been an absolute godsend-both incredibly efficient and wonderfully warm!
It was my friend 40th Birthday and she was arriving for 2 nights, with us joining her for one a day later. On arrival, she found lovely ‘Happy Birthday’ welcome gifts and we were also left a beautiful fruit and cake arrangement! She was made so welcome that she almost felt part of the family and didn’t mind staying on her own! She even consulted the lovely Sandra on reception regarding which dress to wear!! On the morning of my friend's birthday, Jalal took a seat on the piano and played and sang Happy Birthday for her!!
I cannot thank you enough for the warmth and the attention to detail paid by your wonderful staff! Nanu in accounts was quick to address my billing queries and whilst I didn’t catch his name, the young guy in the chef’s whites clearing up in the breakfast room was so friendly!!
The decor is fantastically quirky and I loved the intimacy and ambience of the hotel! Our biggest regret is not having the time to stay longer and really enjoy it, but rest assured your hotel will be the first choice next time we do need to stay in London!
There were so many eateries I wanted to visit-not to mention Borough Market across the road!
I really hope we get the chance to come back and spend more time with these lovely, welcoming people in this funky home from home-we came home with huge smiles on our faces and most importantly you made my friend’s birthday so special!!!
