Perfect family hotel- but only with smaller children since activities for older kids are limited. Nice architecture and nature. As mentioned in other reviews it is definitely not a 5 stars experience but rather 4 stars, but the service that is being provided was excellent. Plenty of friendly staff - especially in the restaurants.

The village hotel is nice but as mentioned not the 5 star experience we are used to, perhaps because these other experiences were in Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico and this is the EU standard. Biggest disappointments: 1) the indoor swimming pool is only open for kids until 15:00, so on rainy or for whatever other reason, you can't enjoy as a family. In Addition, you can NEVER use the sauna if you have a family!! Because they don't turn it on until 15:00, and your children are not allowed in after 15:00, 2) the restaurants: everynight the same selection of desserts, perhaps one thing different and biggest complaint, you feel ripped off: if you have lunch at the village( only actual option is the beach front) you pay 27€ BUT if you walk 10m to the sister hotel, which you have free access to, the lunch with a bigger selection cost 10€!!, free drinks etc., 3) the rooms: VERY SMALL and NO privacy, regardless of low cost or higher level of family room the layout is always the same, 4) room cleaning: even with bed change/cleaning FULL OF SAND EVERYWHERE so overall, no 5 stars and likely would not return:( what did I like? The staff were very friendly....
