Built in 2004 and built right on the waterfront, the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Mediterranee is a great hotel choice for families desiring large rooms, easy beach access and accessibility to the cultural opportunities available in Nice. Most of the suites accommodate up to three guests. The Deluxe Queen allows for a maximum capacity of four guests. The beach is only a few steps away. Kids will love the opportunity to swim in one of the two pools. Onsite dining is available at the hotel restaurant. Nearby attractions include Place Massena (0.4 mi), Cours Saleya (0.6 mi), Nice Etoile Shopping Center (0.7 mi), Nice Cathedral (0.8 mi) and the Nice Theatre (0.9 mi).

Always enjoy being back at Hyatt hotels. The hospitality is always as expected, I asked for assistance from the lovely front desk ladies twice to break my huge euro note and they so kindly obliged. This means so much to me as it would have made the rest of my trip a real headache if they didn’t manage to break it for me. They truly went the extra mile, it wasn’t just one note.. online check in on the Hyatt app was also seamless, I just had to go by the World of Hyatt desk and get my card.
Housekeeping also deserves a shout, I brought my own pillow and it doesn’t have a pillow case. The past hotels I’ve stayed, I’ve just left it on the bed but Hyatt Housekeeping has placed a pillow case on my pillow.. talk about going the extra mile. It wasn’t even the hotel’s pillow ;) I returned it after of course!
Everyday you’ll find a bottle of Evian bottle by your bedside too. The clock with the USB ports are really handy too. The blackout blinds seem like some magic as I could wake up thinking it’s the middle of the night 0.o
Location is just 10-15 walk from the train station when we arrived from Paris, just about 10-15 min walk to the Massena which is the shopping street. Macs is just 2 blocks away.
Unfortunately, due to the cloudy weather we couldn’t enjoy the spectacular view at the pool level. If not it would have been better, no one to fault for that.
But great hospitality from the team at Hyatt Regency Nice!

Hotel in good position to explore Nice in short time. Proximity to beach and old town excellent. Shopping close by very expensive taxi fare. 8 euro tariff before meter started. Good proximity to lots is nice restaurants.
