The HY Regency Lexington has been a long-standing fixture of the area, and I found a rate that suited for a 5 night visit back home. Even with basketball and football happening. The room was clean and comfortable, Did not use the services per se, other than the Blue Fire Restaurant (see additional review). Less than impressed with Blue Fire and there are so many options to have great meals in Lexington. Valet for autos. . . the guys were awesome. Front desk check-in. . . . you thought I was doing her a favor.

This hotel is attached to the Rupp Arena and Convention Center in downtown Lexington. UK is located within a short drive or public transport of the hotel. The room was a good size and seemed to have been recently updated, particularly the bathroom.
Two issues: 1) We checked in on November 1 and it was in the 40's out, but we had to call the front desk to get our furnace turned on; 2) The TV was quirky and difficult to move the channel off of the hotel's info page. Apparently the programming for cable has issues.
The Area around the hotel is called Triangle Square and is home to numerous restaurants and shops. We would stay at this property again.
