I stayed at the HP Canton because it looked like the most upscale hotel in the area located near where I was working. The check in was quick and flawless, the front desk made sure I was able to get into my room in a timely fashion so I could get ready for my meeting. When I arrived to my room I was really surprised! The room was incredibly spacious, and quiet. REALLY spacious. I liked that I didn't have to just sit at the desk or lay in the bed to watch TV, and relax. It provides a large pull out sofa (I didn't need it) but I noticed it was plush and they had a lot of extra blankets for it. The shades were great because I like a little bit of night light in my room, and the shades provide black out, or light shades. I had a beer at the bar, and it was pretty busy, playing music, and a really sleek atmosphere. I like that they carry local wines. The shower is tall enough for a basketball player to use and was very spacious. I came back from my work meeting, stressed and tired, I took a quick dip in the hot tub, and it was very comfortable and HOT. It did the trick. I went to bed close to midnight, and it was unbelievably quiet, the bed was so comfortable I didn't even have to try to fall asleep. The hotel was clean, the room was spotless, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. I usually don't stay at Hyatt's, but due to the points programs, and this particular hotel, they will start seeing more of my business. I will come back to this property when in Canton.
