Cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was! We went for Columbus Day weekend and are thrilled with our selection. We stayed in a Trappeur right on the creek. Enjoying the sounds of the water all day and night was heavenly. The leaves were in full fall force and we walked the property to see all of the leaves in their fall colors! The national forest is across the street and allowed for easy hiking and outdoor time. Our tent was perfect for family game nights, making cooking easy with a small fridge, sink and an outdoor propane stove. But we did most of our cooking on the fire. Their heated pool wasn’t getting much use while we were there, but it was big and clean. Their additional facilities: the beach, SUP/canoes, game room that is heated with a tv, converted RV food truck, general store, basketball court and volleyball court were all in great shape and we enjoyed may of them during our stay. They provide free bottled water for drinking....and if you don’t have a bathroom in your tent like we do, there are bath houses. Though not quite as nice as some places we have been. Parking is not at your tent, but they provide carts to take your items to your tent which is usually quite close to the parking area. The heat in the tent is really only in the main area...the bedrooms do not get heated but they start relatively warm with their nice heavy blankets and closing the drapes to keep the heat in. But prepare to dress warmly for bed if you’re there when it’s cool at night. All in all...we loved it and will return. Without question!

We booked a trapper tent for one night on our honeymoon adventures in the White Mountains. The faculty was really cool and beautiful. Well thought out, except one minor detail. The Trapper tent is advertised as having a heater and while that was true, you had to turn it on via a timer and it only lasted 30 minutes and really didn’t cut through the 20-30 degree temps at all. So we barely slept due to freezing all night and having to get up every 30 minutes to turn on the heater. Otherwise this place would be amazing in the summer/early Fall. Wouldn’t plan on having much heat in the colder months though. Really loved having a bathroom in the tent though.
