Unique themed room

by matthewpX7464ER

I stayed in a "Yacht Cabin" which was beautiful and quite unique. The Reception staff were helpful and spoke perfect English once my patchy German ran out of steam! I loved the theming of the hotel as the room was beautiful and felt very relaxing. I dined in the Empire Restaurant which was good although a little on the pricey side for what you got. Breakfast was something to behold! Anything you could imagine and more was available including a machine which churned out pancakes and another which freshly squeezed orange juice which is a first that I have seen in an hotel. The spa was a wonderful way to relax after a business meeting. My only niggle is the location of the hotel. If you are not driving, it is a pain in the backside to access via public transport. Owing to engineering works on the railway and therefore having to take a replacement bus, it took over 90 minutes to reach from Munich Hbf. The journey to the airport wasn't much better. After trudging with my suitcase across the muddy car park to the footpath I had to take a train to Erding before changing to a 30 min bus ride to the airport. I would advise anyone to take a taxi to the airport if you can afford it!

Nice Hotel to use Therme Erding

I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip to Munich area. I enjoy spas and saunas on my travels, so I decided to book the hotel. Most workers here speak limited English, yet the service was very good. Check in was fast and efficient, although they did not show me how to navigate the spas area which was very confusing due to its expansive size.

My room was well appointed and stylish. Excellent water pressure for the shower, although there is no bathtub in the room. High-tech electronic control panel for room air conditioning, as well as electronic light for privacy room note - a very cool feature! The bed was comfortable with clean linens. Bathroom amenities were well stocked.

The food at all the restaurants was excellent. The included breakfast was sumptuous and really nice! Hotel stay include access to the general pool and spas, but 14 euros extra charge for using the clothed and clothing-free sauna areas.

Catered to predominantly German couples and families, the hotel was busy and the Therme was also busy even for an early October time. I really enjoyed my stay, and it seemed to be a popular holiday resort for the locals. This is a great place to stay if you want to relax at the spas and saunas for a few days. I loved it!
