Situated along the river is a small castle-like hotel, just minutes by foot to Old Town. The 5-star property features 24 rooms, providing free Wi-Fi and fantastic views. Unfortunately, all rooms and suites in the hotel are outfitted with one bed, but its intimate, safe and homey feel provides a place for families to spread out in multiple rooms, especially if traveling with older children. The Maria Theresia suite is its largest suite and two additional beds can be added to it, should you require an actual family room. The entire castle may also be rented.

All-day dining may be enjoyed at the Schloss Monchstein restaurant, serving breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m., and dinner from 6 to 9:30 p.m. An indoor winter garden with fireplace, called the Apollo, invites guests to enjoy the sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling windows with light bites and drinks. In the summer months, guests can enjoy the outdoor infinity pool.
