Stayed here recently and had a good, comfortable and value for money stay. Had a room on the 1st floor (that's UK - 2nd floor US) which was cleaned every day, had comfortable bed and provided me with the accommodation I needed. 5 star luxury it isn't but as a 3* for the price it's the best accommodation for my needs I've found in Cabo in 5 visits in recent years.
I made breakfast in my room most mornings but the coffee shop does a small breakfast by the pool if required.
My body clock was way out so I was often awake several times during the night and when I looked out over the pool in the early hours of the morning it was re-assuring to see the security guards in attendance all night. One night on my return at about 9.30 my right to access the site was even checked by one of the guards.
Decent location as the Marina is 10-15 mins walk or a 50 peso Uber ride away.
I have very little Spanish but the staff (office, housekeeping and ground) were very patient and understanding and very friendly.
All in all a good trouble free comfortable stay at very good value at he price I paid. Likely to stay here again on my next trip to Cabo,

We arrived here in the evening on Sat 1/26. While enjoying the courtyard for a couple hours, a group of people returned from the area stating frantically there was just a shooting near by. Being our first trip there we were very concerned for our safety. Unfortunately, the next available flight was Wednesday 1/30. To make matters worse, we were nickeled and dime to death for everything. There isn't a minibar, free breakfast or even complimentary water. You pay $2 for water and coffee with No refills. I reached out to the front desk and owner who refused any compensations for such a dangerous area. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. Stay as close to the marina as possible. BTW, the pool is so cold you can't even think of wading in it.
