Built in 1904, the fully renovated Hotel Royal-Riviera is a fantastic option for families desiring historic charm, modern amenities and spacious suites. Most rooms sleep up to three guests, with interconnecting rooms available for larger families. The Bedroom Suites accommodate up to four guests. Extra beds and cribs are also available for some rooms. The Royal Kid Program offers kids table tennis, swimming at the outdoor pool, water sports and swimming lessons. Kids will also be presented with welcome gifts upon arrival. Families may dine onsite at the Jasmin Grill & Lounge and the La Table du Royal. Nearby attractions include Villa Kerylos (0.4 mi), Villa Ephrussi (0.9 mi), Baie des Fourmis Beach (0.1 mi) and Passable Beach (0.9 mi). Other family-friendly attractions include Marineland in Antibes and the Oceanography Museum in Monaco.

My kind of Côte-d’Azur escape

It took me one single night to fall in love with Royal Riviera. This year, I came back for a 3 night family break with my mind full of expectations. Needless to say, Royal Riviera blew them all away. It must be the unique atmosphere, so chic and sophisticated, the inebriating perfumes filling the air, the kindness and attention of a truly dedicated staff...it must be waking up, well-rested, in a gorgeous room looking out to the garden and the sea...Royal Riviera is a place where elegance and luxury meet outstanding service; a home away from home located in the gorgeous bay of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, an exclusive venue where I always feel welcome and delightfully spoilt. Being impeccable is a natural attitude here, pampering guests is an authentic pleasure. If you have the chance, book a room with sea view in the Orangerie Villa and make sure you experience La Table du Royal for an exquisite Riviera-style culinary experience. Impeccable.

Could be better

Great position, fantastic views, hotel clean and all the staff very helpful.

Food acceptable nothing spectacular but decent enough.

Although good breakfast buffet.

But

The decor of the whole place is 70’s, tired dated and needs a complete refresh.

The bathroom is cold, no heating or heated towel rail and tatty.

Might stay again but would be second choice.
