Warmly welcomed on arrival with a cold fruit juice and then the option of a tequila shot. Reception staff were friendly and informative on arrival, explaining the location of the hotel facilities. Our room was spotlessly clean and was lovely and cool on arrival as the air conditioning had been left running for when we arrived.
The rooms are functional, with massive, very comfortable beds, loads of wardrobe space and an in room mini bar plus 4 optics on the wall! The mini bar is refilled every 2 days and includes a range of soft drinks and beer. Throughout our stay the rooms were well serviced on a daily basis.
The location of the hotel is perfect as you walk straight onto their own private beach area, which has many sunbeds as do the two swimming pools. Finding a sunbed was never a problem. The pool bar is huge and has many activities going on most days, including a weekly foam party, cocktail making classes, quizzes etc. This area is often very lively and can be very noisy with music etc, but it can be easily escaped as there are many other quieter areas, if you want one.
The food in every restaurant is amazing with a huge choice of dishes in the buffet restaurant both at lunchtime and in the evenings. We ate at all of the a la carte restaurants, all which offered a great meal. You do not need to book for the a la carte and can visit as many times as you wish.
If you walk onto the beach and turn left, about 30 minutes walk away is 5th Avenue. An array of local shops, plus designer shops and some great restaurants and bars, many of which are on the beach.
This was an amazing holiday at a great hotel, with fabulous staff and facilities. We would definitely return again.
