Second time around?

Not the greatest anymore, stayed there April of 2018 and was really good but November 2019 was a nightmare, staff accusing us of housing more people than we booked for when there was only ever 2 of us that booked anyways. Accused us of breaking their drinking glasses and water jug when we were only in room to sleep then leave again. At end of our trip we had one of the front desk ladies chase us down the road and into a condo near by leaving the hotel unmanned and raising her voice at us in Spanish, when we said we spoke English she walked away. Not impressed and don’t think I will go for “3rd times the charm”

Great assistance from front desk and housekeeping

Hotel Rio Malecon didn't disappoint! From when we first arrived to when we left, Front desk staff Ricardo, Eduardo, Carlos and Gina(?) did soooo much to assist with whatever we needed which really made our time in Puerto Vallarta a great experience. Housekeeping staff Veronica always made sure we came back to a freshly made up room and Brenda was very helpful as well. This hotel was well worth the reasonable rate we paid.
