Going near the end of the season we had the best option of facilities without the crowds of peak season. The hotel staff were attentive catering to every need but discrete not pushing us to purchase extras (half a star off for not great coffee). The grounds were all very well maintained and we had choice of either pool, beach, bar or terrace at any time of the day. I was not concerned the beach had some bits of seaweed or the sand was not white as these are natural phenomena. I would have been concerned if there was seaweed in the salt water swimming pools. The sky was blue and the water in the sea and pools refreshing after being in the heat of the sun.

I was very impressed the hotel won an award for their sustainable philosophy and encourage patrons to follow their example (half a star off for plastic drinking straws)

The village of Fertilia was only a few minutes away and the city of Alghero a few minutes by bus for different eating options. Lovely food and mostly locally sourced.

We definitely have come home fully refreshed and relaxed with some wonderful memorable images to keep us going through the dark UK winter.

My Family really enjoyed Hotel Punta Negra. The Pools are both Fantastic and the beach is nice, the infinity pool puts the location over the Top!
Dinner is excellent
and breakfast was sufficient but could be improved.
The rooms were fine and clean. I have come to sardinia for years with my Family and I would recommend this hotel to my Friends.
